Urgent Appeal

It is a privilege to write on behalf of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Monastery to express our deepest appreciation to His Eminence Archbishop Job, Father John Zdinak, Father Deacon Joseph Matusiak, and all the clergy and faithful who participated (whether in person or through their prayers and gifts) in the Consecration of the Monastery Chapel, September 20th.

We are also overjoyed by the inquiries we are receiving from ladies whose hearts are aflame with the desire to pray - to pray the services of Our Holy Church, to intercede for all mankind and creation, and to grow to greater spiritual depths in a traditional monastic setting.

In February, a new postulant will enter the monastery. To accommodate others who are expressing the serious desire to become nuns, the monastery needs to expand.

By using the currently undeveloped section of the first floor opposite the chapel, we can add three cells and a full bathroom for the amazingly reasonable cost of $3,500.00.

We appeal to you to help us raise these funds while building materials are still affordable.

As always, full documentation of your gift will be provided for tax purposes, and we solemnly assure you that your donation will be used for the purpose for which it is given.
