Radio Free Canton is
a service of private,
Sovereign citizens of the United States of America. Our mission
is to enrich our community with no hold barred free speech. We are
not out to generate money, but instead to create truly free art. Not
limited by commercialism or controlled by it. Congress does have the
power to regulate commerce, but has no power to regulate speech. And
since our station is not involved in any type of commerce, we are truly
free. "Pirate" radio is often what we are called, but it
is not correct. For we have not stolen anything. The frequency
on which we broadcast, is unoccupied. And as sovereign Americans,
we already own the airwaves. However, if you would like to donate
to the cause, please fee free.
We are part of a growing movement of artists and creators who have taken notice of the absolute dull drudgery of commercial radio. Public radio isn't much better. And our hope is to create a better aural landscape in the center of our city. Very soon, we will be broadcasting live on the internet, and will be able to offer our complete catalogue of shows in MP3 format for downloading. If you find yourself turned off with commercial licensed (controlled) radio. And you have some talent in creating, or mixing music, or you think that you might, email us.
